Maryland Judicial Council committee members are appointed and work together to accomplish key tasks that move the Judiciary forward. The 13 committees are a vital part of a coordinated, interdisciplinary effort to fulfill the Judiciary’s mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all and to advance justice for all who come to Maryland’s courts.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee Hon. Mimi Cooper, Chair

PURPOSE

The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee promotes the availability, use, and quality of alternative dispute resolution processes throughout the courts; makes recommendations to the Judicial Council concerning statewide ADR rules, forms, and standards of conduct for practitioners; and assists courts in planning, implementing, and improving ADR programs.
